About Sounds of Love

The Story Behind
Sounds of Love

I’ve been where you might be now, feeling anxious, overwhelmed, not quite yourself, and not entirely sure how to get back on track.

I’ve always been a resilient person, but there came a point where pressures of life became too much. I needed something that helped, not just in theory, but in practice. By chance, I picked up a leaflet about Sound Therapy in a coffee shop and booked myself a 1:1 session.

Sound had always been a constant in my life. As a DJ, I’ve seen first-hand how music can shift your mood, lift your energy, and bring people together in an instant. I started exploring it intentionally as a form of therapy. I travelled around the UK studying and pouring myself into therapy courses. I learnt the science of sound and how to use amazing instruments such as gongs, bowls, tuning forks to bring the nervous system into a balanced state.

Not only did Sound Therapy help me when I most needed it, but I knew this was exactly what I wanted to share with others going through that same kind of stress, anxiety or overwhelm.

MY approach to healing

There’s no pressure here to be spiritual, or to perform in any way.

No awkward upselling. No bolt-ons. No ego.

Just a calm, welcoming space where you can properly switch off,
reset your nervous system, and feel more like yourself again.

My role is simple:

I help you navigate stress, overwhelm, panic or sleep issues using a combination of Sound Therapy, Reiki and Energy work alongside, when needed, a good old-fashioned chat.

Before this, my world was music

I worked across some of the UK’s biggest music magazines including Q, Kerrang! and Mojo, and spent many years in the Radio Industry. I became a DJ in my early 20s, running club nights in London, performing at UK festivals, in Europe and New York. I even DJ’d an intimate New Year’s Eve party for Katy Perry but that’s a story for another time…

From watching Kate Bush on TV at 3 years old (which turned into a lifelong love), to making mixtapes for friends, travelling across the UK to see my favourite bands, and building a career in Music and DJing, sound is like another family member to me.

Now, I use the power of sound in a different way.

Alongside my background and career in music, I have always leant strongly into intuitive work. I was given my first set of Tarot cards when I was in my early teens and completed my Reiki Masters in 2004. Although it isn’t something I push onto others, spirituality and intuition is interwoven in my work, helping me to tune into what my clients may need from a session.

Any questions? Please don’t be shy. Get in touch for a free, no-obligation 10 minute chat.

My Core Values

The combination of music, intuition and lived experience is what shapes who I am and the way I work.

I’m a member of the Complementary Medical Association and fully insured with public liability cover.

How Sound Therapy Works

Back to Balance

Scientific research has shown Sound Therapy has a measurable effect on the body and mind.

At its core, it works with vibration and frequency, gently guiding your body back into balance.

  • Significantly reduce stress, tension and anxiety

  • Help shift your body into a ‘rest and digest’ state

  • Slow heart rate and breathing

  • Support pain management in some cases

  • Influence brainwave patterns, promoting alpha and theta waves linked to deep relaxation
